Manage the Availability Status of Team Members in TS4

Manage the Availability Status of Team Members in TS4

Where is this option located?

In the administrative menu in TS4, which can be accessed when you tap the hamburger menu icon in the upper left corner, you will find the “Users” option among the others.

Pressing this option will take you to the User Availability screen.

What if I don't see this option?

If you don’t see this option, it is because the configuration that drives this functionality, that is to say the “time punching” configuration, has not yet been activated for your business. To have this activated, you need to contact the TowSoft support team and we will do it quickly.

User availability statuses

In the Users screen, you staff members can be listed in one of 3 availability statuses that you are probably already familiar with: “On duty”, “Standby” or “Off duty”.

The color of the label also varies depending on this status. However, for the status “On duty”, it is possible that this label appears in yellow if the manual setting of work shifts has been activated. If that’s the case, it would indicate that the user has exceeded the time he has configured for his shift, but has not yet set himself as "Off duty".

Change the availability status of team members as dispatch or admin

When you press on a user's name in this screen and swipe it to the left, the other 2 status options (those in which he currently is not) will be displayed.

If the user is still on a call, you will not be able to change his status.

Also, note that users whose availability status is changed by a dispatch or an administrator will be notified via the application.
